You may recognize the Alexandria Jaycees by some of the projects we run- Spring Into Summer Fest, Egg My Yard, Sandbox Fill, Adopt a Highway, etc. We also offer events for the youth such as Pitch, Hit and Run(Baseball Skills). Besides focusing on the community service the Alexandria Jaycees offer many self-improvement programs including Leadership Development, Individual Development, Networking, Public Speaking, and Community Action. The leadership and management skills offered by the Jaycees have helped many of our members to advance in their careers.

Most important is the friendship the Jaycees offer its members. Many people join the Jaycees in order to meet new people and make new friendships. Those who join the Jaycees discover that the friendships made while being a Jaycee last a lifetime. The chapter has various social events for single, married and family members including family activities, attending sporting events, various socials and outdoor activities. The Alexandria Jaycees are associated with the Minnesota Jaycees, United States Junior Chamber and the Junior Chamber International.
